I am a Certified Professional Estimator, former President of ASPE – Chapter 22, have worked for a top 100 General Contractor and used many of the Sub invite programs out there. When I decided to join a startup G.C., I was looking for a simplified version of what I was used to using and came upon BidGenius on the internet. I was a little skeptical that such a moderately priced program could deliver the functionality that could meet the growing needs of our small and growing company. The ease of use and the simplicity of the program itself are a wonder. It’s intuitive to use. We used to spend a week on training folks to use Prolog and now we can get someone up and running in an hour, sending invites and logging responses. Our biggest problem is training the subcontractors that it’s so simple to use: that they only need to click to send a response or to down load the documents from the FTP site! I now work for a small company where I used to have 20 estimators, there’s only one! I paid for this program out of pocket to make my processes easier and to be able to automate our systems of inviting folks to bid. I would highly recommend Bid Genius to any size company out there!
